Thrilled to announce the launch of Vanished

I’m really enjoying writing crime. My day to day writing, when I’m not busy on the farm, is filled with other series, romance, children’s and a couple of non-fiction titles which I hope will help other writers. Crime though has become my passion. I read it, watch it, listen to it and of course write it.  I’ve recently completed my second crime novel, although there are others written and ready for the next stage.

There is only one thing more exciting than typing THE END when the text is finished and that is seeing everything come together to make a complete book. As always Lavender and White Publishing Services have done a fantastic job on the production of Vanished, the second in my DI Grace Tallis series. Vanished is set in the beautiful countryside of rural Cornwall, a county I have loved for many years.

Vanished takes the reader right back to the beginning, where, held prisoner in a damp, dark cellar, Glanna Pendrick gives birth to Mia, her abductor’s child. As her daughter grows a single thought sustains Glanna. She must escape before she is killed.

In Vanished the reader gets to know more about Mia’s father. Handsome, charming Eddie Hammett has a dangerous obsession, to choose and to capture.  Young women are going missing and on an isolated farm the body count is rising.

The protagonist of Vanished is raw police recruit WPC Grace Tallis, whose career forms the basis for the series. In Vanished Tallis is convinced the missing women have a link to the beautiful county of Cornwall, but no one in the force has any interest in what she thinks.

Vanished is available as both print and e-books through Amazon.
